The application to get a library card is available at the Lantana Public Library, located at:

Who Can Apply
Library cards are free for Lantana residents and residents of the members of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches. This includes Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park, Lake Worth, North Palm Beach, Palm Springs, West Palm Beach, and all of Unincorporated Palm Beach County.
The towns or cities of Palm Beach, Highland Beach, Boca Raton, and Manalapan are not part of the Library Cooperative. Residents of these areas are considered non-residents for purposes of obtaining a Lantana Public Library card.
Card Types
We have full-access cards for kids, teens, and adults with a valid photo I.D. We encourage all children, starting at birth, to get a library card and begin building good reading habits. Reading patterns are established by 5 years old, so we invite you to get your children cards as soon as possible.
We also have other card options for individuals who do not have a photo I.D. or are not Palm Beach County residents.
What To Bring
To obtain a full-access Lantana Public Library card, please bring with you a photo I.D. with a valid address.
Is your address incorrect? Please bring your I.D. and one other proof of residence such as:
- A tax bill
- A rental lease
- A utility bill
Fees
Fees for non-resident and lost cards are as follows:
- 1 year - $20 per household
- Lost card fee - $2 per person
